The final mini-challenge of the Book Blogger Love-a-Thon is to recap your biggest and best and most awesome blogging moments relating to books. Fun.
Well, I've only recently started getting into the whole Book Blogging world, so my awesomeness (as of yet) is contained within reviews. I haven't yet met any awesome and amazing authors where I have to stand in line for hours to sputter out five words of devotion, get a hug, autograph, and a photo. Those days will come. As will meeting awesome book bloggers and assorted other bookish coolness.
So, for now I'll let you in on my favorite book review posts:
A Discovery of Witches - Deborah Harkness
The Night Circus - Erin Morgenstern
Reached (Matched #3) - Ally Condie
Life of Pi - Yann Martel
Wizard's First Rule (Sword of Truth #1) - Terry Goodkind
City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments #5) - Cassandra Clare
So, there, a few books I've reviewed for you to start with. If you're interested in more of my reviews, check out the "She Reads" tab. If you're interested in more of me and what makes me interesting, check out the "favorite posts" tab.
Hopefully next year I'll have more bookish interesting things to share with you guys!

***UPDATE****
I just realized something awesome did happen to me with books and blogging!
As 2013 was just a baby I completed an End of the Year Book Survey in which I talked about everything I read in 2012.
In it I briefly mentioned an amazing book called Kings of Colorado by David E. Hilton. Briefly mentioned.
And?! You guys?!
He commented on that post. A really sweet, kind comment about how he was glad his book had an impact on me.
I have no idea how he came across my blog, let alone that little blurb I wrote about his book. But that made my dad like none other.
So yeah. Something cool has happened to me!
Trust me, the awesome moments will come! I don't get to attend blogger events or author signings nearly as much as I'd like to but that just means that the ones you do get to go to are even more special!
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! It feels so great when you get recognition from an author, it is definitely one of my favourite parts of blogging.
ReplyDeleteLove that he commented. That is awesome! Great memories to come!

That's so cool that the author commented! It's so nice when they do that, or reply to bloggers' tweets, especially since they're sure to have such busy schedules! And I'm sure you'll have plenty of other great experiences soon!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, I'm sure you'll have many memories to make and look forward to! Even things like read-a-thons are some of my greatest memories!
ReplyDeleteAnd oh, it's so nice when they comment or tweet at you, isn't it? :D
Looking forward to seeing more of you around :)
