Day of Silence (& A Small Note)

I am, like so many, joining in on today's day of blogging silence and prayer in memory of the horrific events at Sandy Hook Elementary.

But, I'm also asking for a few of those prayers and good thoughts for my dad today as he's going in for surgery on his shoulder. It's a relatively short surgery, but it's still surgery and I would really appreciate the good energy coming his way from all you lovely people.
