Viva Las Vegas

I finally went on vacation.

Finally.

It's been almost two years since I got back from Budapest. Which means it's been almost two years since I went on any semblance of a real vacation.

A friend I work with and I have been talking about taking a vacation pretty much since we started working here a year ago. Well, two weeks ago? We sat down and started looking since we had April Vacation off if we wanted it off - and we wanted it off! So, after about an hour of looking we found a pretty decent deal on a trip to Las Vegas.

And? We booked it!

Which is kind of insane and ironic when you stop and think about it - Sin City? For two people who don't gamble that much (me more than her, and I only played maybe about $50 over the course of our trip) or drink (I had one because, well, it's Las Vegas). So, we were quite the idiosyncratic Vegas tourists.

And we visited the Hoover Dam which was crazy and so impressive. What an amazing piece of American engineering! If you ever get the chance, I'd totally recommend seeing it!

It was such a fun trip. And it was sunny and mostly warm. And it was a much needed and well deserved vacation.

Here, let me prove it to you:

Vacation & Starbucks = one happy Courtney
Caesar's Palace was amazing.
Buffets are all the rage
90s Girl's dreams (kinda) come true!
it's a long way down the Hoover Dam
